Dr. Rama Letchuman, M.D.

Dr. Rama Letchuman completed his High School in Brisbane, Queensland and received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. He completed a Master of Science Degree at Washington University in St. Louis. He then studied at the University of Missouri-School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine Degree with honors.  He did his Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, Rochester, Minnesota. He sub-specialized in the field of Interventional Pain Management by completing a Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

He is an Interventional Pain Management specialist whose interests include Evaluation and Management of Spinal and Peripheral Musculoskeletal Disorders.   He performs the full spectrum of Fluoroscopic Guided Interventional Pain Management Procedures, Spinal and Peripheral Injections, Radiofrequency Rhizotomies, Spinal Cord Stimulator Procedures and Discograms.

 

Dr. Letchuman is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society, Spine Intervention Society, Mayo Clinic Alumni Association and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is double Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Pain Medicine.
